You won’t believe this about Coinbase.com - my first thought is that Coinbase.com is an obvious money laundering front. After all, what other website allows anyone with a credit card (for money!) to buy anything with the money they have! But why would Coinbase.com be laundering money? This is a question that I will have to ponder some more. Until then, I don’t think that I have any real proof, but if this is true, I will just continue to trust.

Coinbase just announced it will be hiring 300 people at all levels in the next six months. The reason:

“We want to build a company that’s better and bigger. I hope these hires are a sign of that. We’ll grow, we’ll be bigger, we’ll be even better, and we’ll be better at every single employee, from the top down. We’ll be hiring now because we want to do that even better.”

We’ve previously covered how Coinbase took a stand by removing their ads on their website but not before they were already at the top of the rankings. Today, however, they decided to remove that stance for good. In an email to their customers, Coinbase claims that they want to remove their ads from top search engines, giving users a one click sign up option instead.

They also announced that “All merchants who have offered a free Bitcoin payment will continue to do so as usual.”
