You won’t believe this about Bruins.

The Bruins are in a playoff spot after defeating the Canadiens last night and now have 3 goals in their past 2 games and will play their first ever Game 7 next game at home.

This post is going to be really short and I don’t want to bore you with the whole thing and so on, but here are the things that I didn’t expect to see this season:

  • The Bruins are 3rd in the NHL in goals scored. This should make sense to allYou won’t believe this about Bruins.

“All the old players will be back,” coach Claude Julien said. “They still have a lot of energy, they still have an attitude and a work ethic that’s very good. This young group from here on out is going to do a nice job.”

But while many of the veterans were happy to see themselves as part of an older generation, it turns out they weren’t alone.

The Bruins will probably not have a defenseman who can match up with any player on their roster, let alone a player who can match up with anyone on any roster in the league, but let’s talk about it for a moment.

You won’t believe this about Bruins. They’re great, but they’re not invincible. The Patriots went to the Super Bowl this year, but they came in with one of the most physical games I’ve ever seen. The Broncos, though, haven’t been so physical. They’ll have their way, no question about that.

Tom Brady will be at it with Peyton Manning and his offense. Look for Manning to throw deep early. You know the rest.

It can be hard to find that one particular player who you need to call for backup, but sometimes it comes to you. Here’s the story of that special player, Steve Konieczny.

Konieczny first came to the U.S. for his junior hockey career from the Czech RepublicYou won’t believe this about Bruins.

After losing six straight games to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres, the Bruins went out and signed Danton Heinen, who was just cut by the Edmonton Oilers and Buffalo.

On January 6th, 2014, Heinen made the announcement that he signed a one-year, $1.35M deal with the Bruins.

After being acquired by the Bruins, Heinen’s first game as a Bruin was the game against the Florida Panthers on January 25th.
