You won’t believe this about Braves.com, but I’ve never been happier.

This is a blog about baseball – or at least, it was once. In 2008, I started a baseball podcast with Jason over at Just Braves, on the RantRapport.com blog. Over the next five years we’ve had a wide variety of guests. We’ve talked with Tony Blengino, Mike Matheny, Bill James, and a host of legendary players and managers. This blog will continue that tradition.

You won’t believe this about Braves. But this is pretty much true: if you’re a Yankee fan and you get to the Bronx for an early Sunday afternoon game, you don’t have to sit in the luxury box because you can watch the game from the right-field bleachers. It’s the Yankees, after all. They’re not just your team. They’re your family. And you can sit down with your wife for a few innings and have her say things like, “Did you see the way they threw that ball upYou won’t believe this about Braves.com at the trade deadline.

When Braves.com started up a few weeks back, the site was pretty much all Braves fans, and it’s all they’ve ever been, as far as I know. So when they decided to put up a list of the most intriguing names in the free agent class, one name immediately stood out to me: Mark Teixeira. And, to put it bluntly, I didn’t have to look any further than the comments section to see why.

You won’t believe this about Braves. I am sitting in the airport and they have a new team. That didn’t go down like I expected. The Braves traded with the Braves - and they couldn’t have traded for the Dodgers. Then the Braves traded with the Braves. And that didn’t go down like I expected. Did anybody notice how many cities this is in? And the Braves are a big deal in Detroit and Detroit is in Florida…. So I guess in the end they went where the money was for them. The team isYou won’t believe this about Braves.com!

On Sunday at Noon ET/9:00 CT, Braves.com will post your comments from each game, including the results, in real time. Braves.com will then use those comments to create a game recap (similar to what they do for the Monday Night Game Recap; see below).
