There have been reports from around the country about how the Oklahoma Sooners are not being well represented on television. The Sooners do have two Big 12 Championship games on ESPN and FOX that weekend, but we also have two other Big 12 Championship games on ESPN2, and we’ll have two more Big 12 Championship games on either ESPN or FOX in the near future. That’s not enough to satisfy the media.

With the 2016 Oklahoma football season, we saw our highest-scoring game ever, our lowest-scoring game ever, our longest-running game (a 57-27 win over TCU) and our highest-scoring bowl game in history (a 45-14 win over Auburn). Oklahoma had one of its most productive seasons in recent memory, finishing in the top 20 in nearly every major statistical category.
However, that’s not to say that the 2016 football season didn’Where is Oklahoma football? The Sooners are back for a five-game stretch of home games against Texas Tech, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Iowa State. The top six teams in the Associated Press poll all have games that week.
