The San Antonio Spurs haven’t won a playoff series in nearly 40 years. It was back on January 12, 1982, when they met the Lakers as part of the first round of the playoffs. San Antonio took a 2-0 series lead, but in Game 3, Kobe Bryant had 31 points and a game-winning three-point play. The Lakers won Game 4 and forced a Game 5 in San Antonio.When did Lakers vs Spurs die?
Lakers and Spurs were supposed to be the most likely Eastern Conference final combatants this season. Now both teams find themselves at a point where it is clear which is the better side. However, the Eastern Conference is not in the best position right now.
