The CMA Awards will return to Toronto on July 24, 2021, the first time since the awards show moved to the Air Canada Centre in 1996.
The move was made in part to make the award show more accessible to younger viewers, but it won’t be the only reason.
It appears that the producers of the show want to do some rebranding.

The CMA Awards have been announced as the 2021 annual honours ceremony. A number of changes have been made to the award show line-up including the omissions of popular TV star Leanne Crow, actor and comedian Jim Jefferies, The Rolling Stones and R. Kelly and the inclusion of award-winning R&B singer Ciara.
