I have been tracking the development of the Auburn Tigers for many years now via various statistical analyses I have done with Auburn Football Records, Auburn Baseball Records, Auburn Football Records and Auburn Basketball Records. I have also been doing the first version of the book which would have focused more on the history of Auburn Football instead of the history of the Tigers.
Over the years, I have become a great fan of the Tigers and my passion to write about them has never waned. In fact,When did Auburn Football born? I think when the Tigers’ coaching staff was hired in December 1990, they needed players who could play on the outside. There was a lot of optimism at the time, because of the big wins. But when the Tigers lost three of four to Tennessee (the first of the year) and Georgia in the Georgia Dome, there was plenty of doubt about the future.
