The government of Fiji has announced the final list of the names of the 12 nominees for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. The announcement follows the rejection by the US of 14 nominees because of their ties to the country’s human rights abuses. The list includes the heads of six of Fiji’s major companies, including the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, Fiji Labour Party, Fiji Television, Fiji Media Group and Fiji Investment Bank.
