What about Top 75 NBA players?

My question is this, i can see a lot less NBA players out of this top 75 than i could out of Top 5. So, if we do this, and go to top 5 we have a pool of players that are much better than the NBA players in this top 75. So why should we keep the players in this Top 75 as we should just create a new Top 100 NBA players? But, i just don’t get it, why is that?
