In the weeks since Oklahoma’s season-opening loss to Baylor, fans have been asking themselves, “What about Oklahoma football?” The Sooners have been in this situation before. After the 2009 regular season, Oklahoma fans will recall they were favored to win the national championship. But they were crushed by their two in-state rivals.
