With the start of the season in the books, I thought I’d sit down and break down the most important Tennessee football things to keep an eye on in 2017. The first three are all directly tied to the Vols’ offense, and two are directly tied to the defense.

So, let’s go back to that Tuesday night in mid-November. I was sitting in the same place, with the same seat, next to the same guy on the opposite end of the couch. We were watching the Titans on Fox and it was about 11:30 p.m., and even though we were talking football and there would be nothing but baseball in the
