GameDay: ESPN’s Game Day Report

I’m on the road now, but I can’t do any work until after 3 and will be home shortly after 5. It was time to watch GameDay yesterday. And it was a treat.

In case you haven’t noticed, ESPN has a new on-air graphics package that they like to call GameDayThe latest news about World Series. The Yankees went for the pennant. The Red Sox swept the Blue Jays in three games. The Mets won their first series in a year since their last in 2002. And the Chicago Cubs won their first World Series since 1908 with a game against the Dodgers.

What we need to know about the Cubs

The Cubbies have their new manager. It’s not as if the guy in the uniform who played 15 years in the big leagues wasn’t doing a solid job before he was forced to take a long, long rest in the spring. He was doing just fine in the job he had before coming to Chicago and the Cubs.
