This week has been a busy one. We have been busy with Taylor’s first US visit to perform at the American Music Awards. We were also busy with our trip to the Disney Vacation Club Magic Kingdom to catch last night’s Taylor and Demi’s performance in Frozen. In the latest sign of the #MeToo movement, the pop star has apologized for making an “inappropriate and sexually aggressive comment” about President Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, in a since-deleted tweet.

“I made a mistake with the words I used last night, I sincerely apologize to Ivanka and to all women and men, and to all Americans, who were hurt by them,” Swift wrote on Instagram on Friday (20Oct16).

Taylor Swift, at 48, has spent much of the past year in an intense media frenzy. Her new album, 1989, is set to blow up and she has taken over the world not just with her music but also as a fashion icon, having appeared on fashion shows in Paris and Milan, and as a brand ambassador for Gucci.

A couple months ago Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris became the biggest stars at the Brit show when she was on after Calvin for an acoustic set.
