In April of 2016, a man, a truck driver named David Thomas Johnson, was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl in a park by the beach in Virginia Beach. He allegedly had sex with the girl after she had told him she was 16 years old. And in a separate incident, he raped a woman at a rest stop in Virginia Beach. The rest stop, police say, was the site of the rape.
