It was an interesting way to end the season as coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, with their final game being against the NHL’s final remaining Original Six team – the New York Rangers.
For a team that struggled both at home in January and away at Buffalo, that had its biggest win since being swept 1-0 by the Rangers on New Year’s Eve, it was certainly a way to cap off a season that is, at best, a series of mixed results.
How about Stan Bowman?
The Toronto Maple Leafs might have the best head coach in the NHL.
I don’t know when this guy was born, but he’s coaching in Toronto, in his hometown with the Leafs as an assistant general manager for the last three years. If he’s not coaching, he’s still managing, and he’s a man to be reckoned with.
Bowman might even do better than the Leafs expected when he was hired in a trade that brought him from the Blackhawks and anHow about Stan Bowman?
