How about Ravens?

The NFL Week 17 is kicking off this Wednesday evening, with several marquee matchups among their top teams.

These are the matchups that most are most looking forward to:

Steelers at Ravens

The Steelers head into the final weekend without Ben Roethlisberger, who’s got a sore ankle, and the Ravens, who’ve lost Ray Rice and Anquan Boldin for the year, are down to their final two receivers in Anquan BoldHow about Ravens?

I don’t think they’ve had a good season. Don’t read much into the lack of a Super Bowl victory. They beat the Redskins this year in a game where most observers figured that Baltimore would win. I think it’s more about the consistency and the way they’ve handled injuries.

And I agree with your final point with the Cowboys. We’ll go with the Cowboys unless something bad happens in week 1.

I’ve been saying this since I started watching football:How about Ravens? Ravens fans, as fans of the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, have all of the attention in the NFL that fans of other teams have been accustomed to. That was evident before the Ravens last win came, during the regular season. After the season, the Ravens were a Top 5 priority for NFL personnel around the league.

This was a tough one to call: we have two games this week, and they are our two best two games of the season. The two games that matter. If that game goes seven-game winning streaks, then we are going to have very high hopes for the playoffs. The Ravens are the teamHow about Ravens?

You have to admit, the Ravens' defense has been excellent this season, and their running game, well, looks pretty decent as well. If you add up the total yardage they’ve gained thus far this season, it certainly looks like a strong defense.

Then you have to realize, though, that this defense is no secret. This offense is a little different. But, it’s still quite good, and if the offense takes a page out of the Ravens' playbook,How about Ravens? I’d prefer 49ers. The Niners have won the last three meetings in the Bay Area and the last two seasons.

The 49ers may have a new coach and a new look, but the 49ers have just as much talent on defense as they do on offense. This will be their best run-defense season, and even though the Niners have yet to beat the 49ers this year, they may be the best team in the NFL if their run defense is as great as
