Let’s start by calling a Sprewell Award into service. The thing is, you really don’t get a ton of Sprewells, unless you win in a walk-off game or get to see a team play. It’s an easy one.

Then let’s say you get two teams in the same division with the same number of wins. The Braves could finish second, and the Cardinals could finish sixth. How does it affectHow about Braves? The Braves have the #15 overall record (7 games back of NYY), the #9th in the division (2 games back of AL West leaders and 8 games in back of NL West leaders), and yet are still in position to make the playoffs (although not for the reasons they want). How about Braves? I said “No” until I heard some talk about Braves. Now it’s pretty obvious who “they” are. I just don’t see the point in going over to the Braves. They have to make their own decisions. They have different fans so it might be different. I don’t care what the Braves do. Nothing changes. I have no problem with winning in the playoffs. The thing is, I’d rather win in the playoffs then not win at all.

I’m on the verge of getting my new (well, refurbished) TV tomorrow. It’s an Epson CX-701. I’ve been waiting a week for this thing and I’m pretty darn excited about it:
