CBS Television Network launched its new daytime crime drama, NCIS: New Orleans, on April 17, 2008 replacing the popular series NCIS.

NCIS: New Orleans is the ninth incarnation of the successful series created by Chris Kachadourian and Donald P. Bellisario, Jr. (The West Wing) as seen on CBS from 2001 to 2008.

TVLine is reporting some juicy details about the show’s first season, which premieres in its regularly scheduled time slot this Sunday at 10 and promises “an adrenaline rush” after the initial shock.
