After spending two years in New York City at Union Square Gallery, Lil decided she was tired of working so hard and giving her work the respect it deserved, so she left her corporate life behind to pursue her artistic career. She earned her BFA in printmaking and MFA in fiber at the School of Visual Arts.

Durk, in case you didn’t know, is a rapper who, as of this moment, has released a few albums with MMG Entertainment, MMG (Music Makers Group) is a hip-hop label based in Los Angeles founded by Lil Durk in 2000. While most people know Durk as a rapper, he has also released music under a variety of different musical projects including, “The Good Life” and “The GoodLife Records” and “Soul of a GangAbout Lil Durk.
Lil Durk is a writer, editor, and creative consultant living in Dallas. His work has appeared in The Hairpin, The Dallas Morning News, American Book Review, Texas Monthly, The Dallas Observer, The Columbia Journalism Review, and other publications. Lil is the former managing editor of The Hairpin but quit after a few years to pursue full-time writing. He recently moved back to Little Elm to manage his family home.
