Dune is the oldest and most significant of the six original Star Wars novels to be published, written by author Frank Herbert. Written at the behest of Lucas, Herbert took his inspiration for his story from Francis Ford Coppola’s 1976 filmApocalypse Now, in which the fictional protagonist, Will Kane, (played by Harrison Ford), battles as a member of the New Army a mysterious resistance against the evil Empire, with heavy influence from the works of George Lucas.

DUNE - DUNE was an RPG created using the RPG Maker language as the basis of an MMO fantasy setting. It is now a free game and available on www.dune-games.com. I am not a developer per se, but I have spent many hours playing with Dune every day. New from Dune.com: THE SAGA OF HARDENING
This is not a movie review–it’s a documentary, and like most docs, it’s a little subjective. Nevertheless, it’s the best thing I’ve seen on the subject of the movie “Hardened.”
