PITTSBURGH – Atlanta Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte, the National League’s Most Valuable Player last year, has been voted as the NL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2015 season by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.

The Braves announced today that they’ve signed a one-year deal with right-hander Julio Teheran. He’ll make $3.75 million this year, and the club plans to exercise a $3.5 million club option for next season.

The Braves started the season 6-4, and finished 11-7. While the first half of the season was decent, the second half was awful. Atlanta dropped five of six down the stretch, including a pair of seven-game losing streaks in late July and early August. The Braves finished with one of the worst records in the National League, at 23-49.
